Introduction to The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated high-performing Enterprise Business Development Manager. The role is to accelerate the growth of our Enterprise Retailer portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you will be involved in planning and executing commercial, sales and marketing strategies and being accountable for Enterprise growth. Nurturing of relationships, opening otherwise closed doors and speaking with the key decision makers at all levels will be essential in this role.

As an Enterprise Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with securing the services of the key players in the retail world that provide various credit options, experience in this area is desired but not essential.

You must by nature of the role be driven, focussed, want to make an impact in a fast dynamic business. If you have the right blend of talents and attitude to successfully achieve sales targets and KPI’s, we would like to hear from you.

Duties & Responsibility:

  • Be a key player in the execution of the Sales strategy.
  • Provide regular accurate forecasting and revenue reporting.
  • Identify under-penetrated or new business segments and opportunities, prioritise where to focus, plan how to target them and execute those plans.
  • Work to clearly defined targets delivering opportunities with greatest revenue potential.
  • Work with and leverage internal and external marketing teams to support acquisition quota.
  • Be knowledgeable of the BNPL space and of UK competition, the market characteristics and costs of the products and services.
  • Be able to negotiate and structure long-term agreements with enterprise retailers.
  • Understand and use data and insights to build a sales story that is compelling for stakeholders and saleable opportunities for market.
  • Nurture opportunities and cultivate meaningful relationships with stakeholders to gain deep insight into their business and its objectives.
  • Constantly strive to be a high performer ensuring you are collaborative and a specialist in your work.
  • Lead and mentor other members of the Enterprise Team and engage with customers at the highest level, to ensure profitable acquisition for the business.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven track record in sales acquisitions and delivering against sales targets
  • Previous sales experience and a passion for e-commerce and finance products
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce platforms incl. Shopify, WooCommerce Magento and Open Cart
  • Extensive management experience preferably from sales and marketing within car rental, wider automotive, travel and hospitality or retail service sectors.
  • B2B experience with a track record of driving significant growth.
  • A proven record of accomplishment in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong business decision making skills with a focus on achieving results.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with peers.
  • Commercial thinking and challenging the status quo in a positive way.
  • Strong strategic capability to dive into the detail and act in a fast, tactical manner.
  • Experience of working in a field-based role, coupled with a combination of office/home working.
  • A distinctive understanding of the BNPL space is beneficial, not essential.
  • Innovative, strategic thinker and commercially astute.
  • Potential to lead small but highly driven teams.
  • Drive and self-motivation to accomplish our ambitious growth targets.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts.
