Top Tips for the ultimate staycation

Content Author

There are a plethora of reasons that 2020 will be the year of the staycation. Many months of looking at the same four walls have caused us to get the holiday itch, but some are not quite ready for the close proximity of air travel or visiting countries where the pandemic is still rife and two weeks quarantine on return might be necessary.

Accommodation

We have spent the last few months living on top of each other, so the last thing we need is to spend our holiday in close quarters! Luckily our friends over at Outdoor Camping Direct have some fantastic family tents including eight-person glamping options.

Getting your vehicle in good working order

When was the last time you refuelled? For many of us, our cars have been sitting on the drive doing very little, and that is not ideal for cars, especially when we are planning a long journey. We have specialist care service centres in our directory, meaning you can get your car in tip-top shade ready for your adventure.

Plan days out

Keep everyone entertained by planning some days out. Heading to the beach? Why not treat yourself to a new cool-box or portable BBQ?

Take your hobbies with you.

When staying in the UK, the one advantage you have is that you can take your fishing gear or golf clubs without paying through the nose for baggage fees. Ready for a new rod or set of clubs? Head on over to our retailers and spread the cost.
