Xperience Photography
Our memories are something that makes us human. The wish to capture what we see is held by all people across the globe. So, what if we can capture those memories to last a lifetime?
Here at DivideBuy, we work with a large variety of amazing photographers who offer a selection of family portraits, pets, weddings, dance, and commercial photography. Amongst these, we work with a special selection of photographers called The Xperience Group. These are an independent collection of professional photographers across the UK & Ireland, specializing in a variety of photography subjects but with one goal – the perfect photography Xperience for all.
Recently we have partnered with All People Photography and Elle Bright Photography who both run projects surrounding body confidence and being yourself. As members of the Xperience Group, they are not part of a franchise so there is no sugar coating and no pushing; feeling comfortable in your skin is their number one priority.
Whatever you’re looking to have captured, however, we’re partnered with experienced photographers who are very excited to help snapshot your moments.
“This is Me”
The “This Is Me” project was launched by All People Photography. It’s all about being free to be the people we are inside and embracing that person; saying to the world around us that we are proud of who we are and that we won’t let others dictate that.
The project focuses on young people and the impact of bullying, peer pressure and teenage life can have on our younger generations. The customized shoots celebrate the client’s unique personalities; something necessary for healthy development as they move into their teen years.
We spoke to Pete from All People Photography regarding the importance of accepting our quirks as younger members of society:
What do you hope the ‘This Is Me’ project will achieve?
“We hope the project will allow the subjects to ‘own’ the shoot. We hope that the shoot will give greater confidence to those taking part. Many young people suffer peer pressure and if they’re different, it can exclude them from a group environment. We want to celebrate their individuality and uniqueness. Some who have taken part have autism or ADHD and the feedback we had from the parents has been very positive.”
Who are you targeting this project at?
“The project is primarily aimed at those in their secondary school years between 11-18, when most challenges come with fitting in, exams, dating and feeling accepted.”
How can people get involved?
“Simply register their interest with us on our ‘This Is Me’ page and we’ll get in touch. Or they can email or call us. It’s important for us to know as much about the subjects as possible before the shoot. Having a chat, preferably at the studio, before the shoot will help them relax with us and give us a greater insight into who they are. Their fears, anxieties, hopes, dreams and just who they are as people!”
Body Confidence
In December last year, we partnered with Elle Bright Photography who specialises in body confidence for every woman. It’s about self-acceptance, body positivity, and art. It is about feeling beautiful exactly the way you are, and Elle believes that’s something every woman deserves.
We spoke to Elle directly to find out how body confidence is not about waking up and loving every part of you; it’s about waking up and not hating every part of you.
What is your definition of body confidence?
“To feel free to be you – no matter your age, size, shape or weight so you can be who you want to be and make a difference to this world. All you can do is your best to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit.”
What inspired you to promote body confidence?
“I’ve been seeing changes in how women feel about their bodies as social media has grown. I’ve been a photographer since before digital cameras, so when I fell in love with a Welshman and moved to the UK in 2017 (I’m Australian), I was truly shocked by how many women seemed to be lacking body confidence. Nowadays we are all more focused on how we look than ever before and all women need to know that you are perfect just as you are.”
How important do you think feeling body confident is?
“I believe that our health is number one because without it you aren’t here! Body confidence is number two; if you don’t feel good about you then you are in no position to have a happy, fulfilling life and help make the world a better place. And every woman deserves to be who she wants to be!”
The Smarter Way to Pose
On average, couples in the UK spend £1,560 on wedding photography and £750 to have their family memories captured forever in print. We offer our customers a smarter way to spread the cost of these life experiences and in partnership with the Xperience Group, you can feel comfortable knowing your memories can last a lifetime without it breaking the bank. In 2019, we helped over 800 people spread the cost of their images, will you be next?
